It's story time ...

I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with a degree in Journalism and Advertising. My first venture was a digital and guerrilla marketing company called Silverback PR, where I created real estate video tours (pre-YouTube) before video marketing was even “a thing.”

I originally obtained my real estate license to combine my marketing expertise with a way to earn extra cash while running my other company. But after closing a few deals as a REALTOR®, I found myself diving into real estate full-time.

Shortly after, my mother Bernice, also a REALTOR®, and I joined forces to create a top-performing team, The Maez Group, under RE/MAX. But being the serial entrepreneur that I am, that just wasn’t enough …

… And in 2011, our family brokerage, VIVO Realty, was born.

Today, I’m the Broker and Co-founder of VIVO Realty, where I recruit, manage, and train agents to lead successful real estate businesses.

I’m also a TREC-certified instructor. For over six years, I taught all Qualifying Education courses at Champion’s Real Estate School, where I became one of the most sought-after instructors.

As a marketing expert and 1-Page Marketing Plan Coach, I’m passionate about training and consulting agents and brands on social media, branding, and content strategy. In addition to real estate, I’m a Co-founder of INJEXED MedBar with my wife, LaDelle. INJEXED is a MedSpa specializing in injectables and laser hair removal.

I live in Plano, TX, with LaDelle, our three kids, and three furry companions: an 88-year-old

dog years Boston Terrier named Alfred (who only answers to Alfie), a chubby and lazy English Bulldog called Toro, and a small black Pug named Ringo (who has to wear a diaper indoors).

I’m all about action in business and life, whether running with the bulls in Pamplona, whipping around corners in my Porsche 911, or swimming with a shark in the Bahamas (a friendly Reef shark named Toby).

One thing’s for sure—whatever comes next will never be boring!
